From Amsterdam Central Station
This is by far the nicest and most beautiful route (but not the fastest).
Past the Royal Palace, through the Leidsestraat, over the Leidseplein and past the van Gogh museum. According to Het Parool and National Geographic, this route is one of the best rides in the world:
"Those who want to get to know Amsterdam could have themselves dropped off at Museumplein by helicopter, and then be personally shown around the Rijksmuseum by the director. But for those not named Obama, there is a much more complete way to take in Amsterdam in all its facets in just as much time: a ride on tram 2. "
Tram 2, get off at Hoofddorpplein and walk 600m along the Aalsmeerweg to the Aalsmeerplein. We are just around the corner on the left.
Total travel time from CS including walking: Approximately 38 minutes.
