Thermography is not a substitute for a mammogram (it doesn't see structures), but if you go for a checkup every year, you can keep track of changes in your breast area.
As soon as abnormalities appear, you can go to the family doctor or specialist.
The advantage of a thermography is that (physiological) changes are visible at an early stage.
For me, it has worked fine for several years.
No more very painful mammograms for me.
