- Level II Clinical Thermographer
- Orthomolecular therapist according to the clinical psycho-neuroimmunology (kPNI)
- Hormone specialist.
For me, the thermography is a pleasant and valuable way to monitor the state and possible developments of and in my body.
In 2010 I lost my sister to colon cancer, I started looking for anything related to cancer. So I came to thermography, a non painful examination, and yet more information about, how the breast tissue behaves.
In 2011 I had a mammogram, the doctor at the door, big panic.
They'd seen something that didn't make sense.
Yeah, I thought I could, but now I'm letting myself go crazy.
The story was, yes we have new equipment, and that sees a lot more.
So...... through the mill (check-up in hospital etc) In the hospital another mammo, with old technique uhhhh (why?) Then an ultrasound.
That took about an hour, rash ... there's something there, but what?
No one had a clear view of that.
Too small for a biopsy.
This is the story you go through, and the nerves were coursing through my throat, what can I do with this.
Generating fat stress.
Got letter after letter for check-up and investigation.
And then something snapped.
I'm done with this.
Was in a grieving process of my sister (died aug 2010).
Then I made a decision for myself and went to Thermography in Amsterdam.
I really enjoyed that, no stress and certainly no pain.
And I believe those are at least 2 ingredients of a nutritional soil for any disease.
Now finished Nov 2019 been again, and hope everything may be as positive again as before 🙂
Personally I would recommend every woman, thermography, and possibly / echo .
I won't have a mammogram anymore, because I had severe pain in my breasts for at least a week afterwards, which made me stress out again.
To finish the story ...something I never forgot and laughed so hard at.
A huge, strong, farmer's wife from Brabant, with whom I sat in the mammography bus, said after her examination .... You can see that this device has been designed by a man.
If they (men) had to put their dick in it, they would have invented a new device by tomorrow. 🙂
Very nice that there is another option to have your breasts checked as the usual mammo.
Makes me feel better every year, same period.
It is always nice when Birgitte immediately gives a short explanation of what she sees.
I always find the thermography to be a very pleasant experience.
Birgitte takes time for you, puts you at ease and looks at how your mental state might affect the photos.
Also in terms of nutrition, supplements et cetera I get always good advice.
Good self-care is obviously important.
Physically and spiritually.
It is directly about yourself, your own body, thoughts and feelings.
In regular care I have the experience that mainly instrumental physical examination is done; that especially evokes a feeling of vulnerability.
Birigit of Thermography Amsterdam receives me every time with a warm and friendly welcome.
I am seen and heard in my totality as a human being.
She shows in everything that she genuinely involved is.
That feels good and safe.
Thermography I experience as a pleasant one, additional preventive control.
Clear explanation, good feedback.
Good addition on mainstream research, clear explanation and involvement without being pushy.
Every time I come inspired and better informed back from a visit to Birgitte.
In addition to the thermography, a whole good conversation in a nice atmosphere place.
I always go with a good friend and we have smiles on our faces when we go out again.
We have to drive quite a distance to get to Birgitte, but it is worth it every time!
Thermography is only a reflection of breast physiology and as such is not a substitute for mammography.
Annual clinical examination of the breasts and periodic evaluation by other objective tests is recommended for comprehensive screening for breast cancer and to assess the structural component of breast tissue.
